Hotwheels Custom JUN Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X

Well, the most difficult part in the process are the masking for green stripe on the yellow color base on the both sides of the Evo X. It took 6 times masking on and off, spraying alternately in between.

The overall custom built lower skirting and rear GT wing kits are on experimantal stages and still not perfect yet especially on the GT wings with added brackets.

As for the side skirting and rear diffuser, i've added it to the Evo X and it's slightly not the same as the original JUN Evo X version.

The rear height of GT wing are raised up higher than the standard setting.

Work In Progress Custom Hotwheels JUN Lancer Evolution X

Another custom Hotwheels Mitsubishi Lancer in the line, known as JUN Evo in Japan
and one of my favorite custom Evo X car.

The end rear spoiler cut off, some sanding applies to even the trunk surface.

Next, scratch built custom GT wing, measured and place the frames in the holes which have been drilled.

After the original paint stripped, fresh new primer coat and white spray paint applies.

And some masking work on the green stripes, the pictures below are the finish coat.

Hotwheels Custom 2011 Camaro BumbleBee

Here's my recent completed custom Bumblebee in the casting of 2011 Camaro.
The original rear wing was removed and the opening holes are filled up with some bonding material before spraying with primer coats and paints.
These are the 4th attempt in achieving the colour that similar to the replica bumblebee's camaro color.

It's been a long time that i've didn't update any custom works here due to too many works and deadlines had to finish. hope that my friends won't disappointed.
A few weeks ago, i've ask my friend to help me looking for this Hotwheels casting, it's a Surf Crate..
Looking at me and he was not so convincing.."it's surf crate and it's ugly."
and he ask me why and i told him that i want to custom it.
What do you guys think of it?

well here's the WIP.
the original casting was stripped paint and the doors are cutting out.Apart from the difficulties in cutting, the construction of the openable hinges for the Gull Wing type door are the most challenging task.
later, some paint applies.
and here it goes.

This is my first custom entry into international custom forum ( creepterz kustomz) competition and for the month of october casting are 1/64 scales Hotwheels Surf Crate. The level of customizing over there are high, skillful and awesome .To make it into top 5 are miracle.
And i've ended up finish 2nd placing.

As i've been busy doing some 3rd batch of R34 Gran Turismo, the 350Z came across my mind as the casting have been stripped paint to the metal and lying idle for some quite some time around and wonder how does it looks if custom made in Gran Turismo color.

Hotwheels Custom DD Jayden's FunClub 1st Anniversary

Congratulation to one of my fellow HWCM member whom celebrating his son 12 months birthday recently.
He has requested me to custom this Dairy Delivery for these special occasion.

The owner wish to have the rubber wheels on these custom Dairy Delivery. Finally i have managed to get these matching chrome with rubber wheels after some searching.
Hope that he will be happy for the new outlook.

The base has been drilled on the rivet so that it can be tightened with screw on the casting , now it can be opened and replaced any wheels easily.
Others are custom built big twin steel exhaust muffler at the rear side.

Hotwheels Datsun 240Z Custom Devil Z Version 2

The owner of these new version has been waiting long for these 2nd and update version of my previous Wangan Midnight Devil Z. He has been happy to received since then when he saw these latest work.

Here are the latest improvement, Custom make side mirrors on the front bonnet, carefully chrome spray on the window frames trimming on all sides, choice of two different rubbers wheels set and lastly twin steel muffler at the rear end.

Custom Hotwheels 69 Mustang code name Musclemania

After some hectic works and not posting any new custom since last month and I've managed to complete this mustang after lying idle for quite some times inside my garage.
No need introduction for the owner of this muscle car as his name are shown on the casting itself.
Actually he wanted the color in plain white and black front bonnet cover but i think i should do something better instead.

Added are two red stripe on the front bonnet, black and red stripe on the both sides of the casting. The side mirrors are scratch built (first prototype on this mustang). the result are quite okay but i need to improve it further in the future.

These mustang has been collected by the owner since, with a smiling on his face.

New Version Hotwheels Custom Ralliart Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X

Another busy month passing by and i didn't realised that i didn't post anything for the whole month of May. Maybe too tired after coming back very late from work every night and i did received a lot of email enquiries pertaining to my custom work since last month. Many apologies for not replying the emails lately, i will sort it out later, soonest possible.

Now back to my works, here's my latest custom work. 1/64 scale Hotwheels Custom Ralliart Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X in street car GT version. Added are custom made from lower skirting, side skirting , rear spoiler, metal antennas to the roof, rear steel muffler , side mirrors and added co-mo white wheels. Enjoy......

Custom Hotwheels Honda NSX Mobil One JGTC

Sorry for the long and delay in posting of my custom work lately.
Currently still busy with my office work which requires me going to the site project for some supervision and solving technical issues arises from time to time. Sometimes ended up going home in the late midnight...everyday. Hope that the project will complete sooner and everything back to normal for my free time..which i enjoy most in customizing model cars, .....haha.

Here's another of my complete custom 1/64 scales Hotwheels Honda NSX Mobil One JGTC in white color.
Original casting was embossed with Acura logo. I've sanded it and replaced it with Red Honda logo on the front bonnet and some touch up to the rear engine.
Others are added side mirrors and speed machine's co-mo wheels.

Brand new year and and a brand new custom Civic. As the end result shown, i must admit that this 2001 version are much better looking than the previous job done on the 2006 Civic SI TEIN version.
The overall custom has been improved mainly on the custom built lower skirting, side skirting and scratch built rear GT spoiler.

WIP Hotwheels Custom Honda Civic 2001 TEIN version

After the long holidays, it's time now back to usual custom.

A friend of mine asked me whether i can built custom Hotwheels 2001 Honda Civic SI in the TEIN version as he had seen my latest custom 06 Civic SI TEIN version. I'm not sure, because the overall casting might not results look really as good as the 2006 version. Anyway, here's the WIP to see whether these version will be much better.

Designer Challenge Custom Charity Car Skyline R34

A few weeks ago, i've received a call from a member whom are in the organizing committee for 2nd HWCM Annual Dinner 2011 which are held on the January 15th 2011 .

I was invited to custom a selected casting (Hotwheels Nissan Skyline R34) which are to help the charity through closed bidding during the annual dinner. There are selected 5 customizer only in these categories.

As i was i the middle of rushing some current project, i have an idea on the custom charity car. It will be in the simple but without any brands or sponsor on it using original wheels.And it came with a special box.

here's the end result. And i'm also congratulates to the succesful bidder for acquires my custom R34 on that special night.

and this custom was on display for the bidders, pictures courtesy from my friend Kown. a very good photographer and hotwheels collector also.

Remember the previously posted Custom Hotwheels White SM Ralliart Evo X? Here's the upgrade version with custom built Rear GT Wing, front, side and rear skirting. Added painted copper finish co-mo wheels spokes, side mirrors and single exhaust muffler to spice it up.

These is my last post for the year ending 2010, the next year 2011 will be another exciting custom works again.

Complete Custom Gran Turismo Nissan Skyline R34

These are the favourites custom casting that every one is doing now. Here's mine to roll out from my garage.These take a long time to post as due to few factors below.

First,the decals design took me almost 3 weeks to refine to the final stage.

Second, these are the first batch of custom Gran Turismo R34. It takes longer time than expected to complete due to many layers of color masking and heavy decals works all round the casting, and really can't rush to complete it because it will disrupt the consistency of the quality works.

Third,another upgrade to the current Gran Turismo are added roof light bar and metal antenna and matt black wheels with rubber tyres, the rest are standard with black Speed Machine's co-mo wheels.

All the custom are safely placed inside folderbox, ready for delivery.

Custom Qombee Hauler with Bugatti Veyron Helang

Hi guys, sorry for the long delays as i was very busy at work lately.
After the completion of the Helang Evo X, followed up introduction of Bugatti Helang based on the short story earlier, here's the Helang hauler in the casting of Hotwheels Qombee 1/64 scales to complete my custom helang series.

the rear 8 straight pipes on the rear platform has been sealed with rectangular piece of plastic for holding the hauler and replaced with twin big steel muffler at the rear ends.

Custom Hotwheels TEIN Honda Civic SI

These custom project was supposed complete last month but was put aside due to some hectic custom helang evo to complete. Anyway, since the decals design was almost 90% done, i just finished off the remaining works for the full complete Hotwheels custom TEIN Honda Civic SI version.

Complete Project Custom Helang Evo X 2nd Edition

After some busy and hectic working schedules on my office work which clash with my custom evo helang working time, finally the 2nd edition has completed. The custom period takes longer time because due to increasing demand numbers of helang as all the custom are individually assembled thus longer workmanship required on each of them. Most of my customer here understand my working custom period are longer which i do custom my car on my free time besides working full time on permanent job.

Here, i would like to emphasize that all the works, the helang evo decals are 100% artist works of my own design. the rest included in these series are :
1) custom made roof light
2) custom made real antenna V2( 100% metal)
3) custom made side mirrors
4) custom made twin rear steel muffler.

as on today, all the helang evos are fully booked to and will hand over to their respective owners by this weekends.

Although it tooks a longer time to complete, i do really feel satisfy looking at these fleets of final products of custom police car. A task that needs full attention on all the casting which needs customized hand built individually which i doubt i will be repeating in near future.

New WIP custom Hotwheels Helang Evo X 2nd project

After the long delay as i was very busy clearing some back logged custom and working long hours in office (to the extend of working during public holidays ) finally the 2nd project helang finally started.

as there are more demands for the special police car custom, the numbers are now reaching 13 evo casting presently and added three more R34 skylines to cope with the demand.

i hope that those respective members and friends had to be patience as these custom periods are taking more times to finish as they are custom and assembled individually to maintained high quality finish.
many apology should be any delay prior to this.

here is my WIP pictures below;
and just completes the touch up the window frames in black color
completed on the decals on all the evo x casting, it took me 4 nights to finished on the decals.

the custom roof light assembling are completed and finished with clear blue and clear coats over.
the original chrome underbase are now resprayed with flat black and some touch up on the chassis.And the rear part are waiting to be fitted with rear mufflers.
and the grey interior are now resprayed with flat black too.
These process are repeat one after another and taking longer time to complete in stages.
and the final inspection and some fine tuning here.

I need my new hauler to carry all the casting into my garage as the current Hotwheels Backslider cannot cope with the extra work and break down frequently.

And I've chosen Fast Gassin (also Hotwheels) as my replacement but need to modified it and merge together with Backslider.

Hotwheels Custom Mustang Barricade V2

Almost a year ago that i've posted the custom mustang barricade and now today i've posting another improved version of this custom police car.
Another forumer, Blueye has requested the previous version but i felt it will be much better for him to have the much better upgrade version.

Hotwheels Corvette C6R, custom in plain white colour with racing tampos are built specially for my visiting friend from Brunei and he is also Hotwheels customizer and collectors too.

This custom are suppose to built right after some few custom project in one or two month times and managed to built these overtime in short period.

There are two rubber wheels version and he has the previlage to choose either one to his preferance. And he has chosen the chrome wheels on our meeting session few days back.

I've been asked by some friends some times ago that wether i do custom on Tomica Honda Civic casting.Well, this is my first custom on tomica casting in the mould of Honda Civic Type R. Just some simple mode up as i'm quite satisfy with the original paint.
Added kits are custom built side mirror, wheels swapped from Hotwheels Speed Machine's white co-mo wheels and custom built rear steel exhaust muffler.

Custom Tomica Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Police Car

Another custom Malaysian Helang Evo X police car, this time is Tomica casting. the built up custom was done together with the earlier posted Hotwheels version but these tomica casting has a little more work to do.
The difference are the opening doors on both sides a surplus advantage compares to Hotwheels and so to spray paint jobs which needs that separate and more times needed on masking.
However i retain the original rooflight as this casting was Tomica Evo X British Police car and it makes my job easier.

Complete Custom Hotwheel Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Police Car

As promised, my custom Mitsubishi lancer Evo X Malaysian police car known as Helang Lebuhraya (Highway Eagle) completed. These casting are Hotwheels in 1/64 scales.
Added custom include:
custom make side mirror, roof light, rear steel muffler and
custom make roof antenna

of all the custom kit above, the roof light design is my best achievement so far which are built from scratch and quite satify with the result although not achieving 100% similarity to the actual scales.

WIP Hotwheel Lancer Evolution X Custom Malaysian Police Car

It's been a year already since i've started my blog last year on the month of may and how time pass by without realised it. Thanks everyone for the support and some very good comments, this will motivate my custom work for further improvement,

Right now, new title header and my new WIP on our very own national highway patrol police car known as Helang Lebuhraya or Highway Eagle Malaysian police car. The actual car are the latest Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.

and i've selected Hotwheels Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X to start my project. Here's the WIP pictures..
filing tools ready for some hard filing works..

now the rear logo are flattened..

after paint remover, the casting are wash and left in the sun to dry..
new primer coats applies..

another white coating applies here..

after that all the casting are now touch up with painting on the rear light..

now for the side window frame with painted flat black, pictures shown before and after..

all the decals applies here..

now for the interior as in original plastic grey colour..need to be sprayed with black colour coating

the casting are now installed with custom made side mirror..
the original wheels are masked and sprayed white all over..
these are the result, all white inner rims ..
the interior are now in black colour..
finally,the most difficult part, to built the roof light from scratch. After trying some prototype for half a day, i've managed to construct the roof light using transparent pvc sheet , cut to size and glue them together to the plastic T joint and ready for clear blue brushing and some clear coating.

the final touch up, ready for installing the roof light on the evo X..

Hotwheel Custom Civic Street Tuner 2010

Just for this time, my hotwheels custom civic 1/64 scales are without tempo or side logo but do not fooled by the plain racing red and black colour on it. Unlike my previous custom civics before, i'm concentrate on the body custom kit only.

Hotwheels Ecto 1 Ghostbuster Custom Mod

Manage to get this extra 1/64 scale Hotwheels Ecto 1 for simple custom mod.
The original casting by Hotwheels are moderate and i feel there are some area that it need to upgrade.
Wheels swapped with white wall rubber wheels and some added extras cables with some minor drillings, roof top equipment make over and improvement to side ladder by drilling and filing some opening holes in between the step ladder.

Comparison to the original Ecto 1 casting..

Hotwheel Custom Civic S.I Type R 2010

My custom Type R version for Hotwheels Speed Machine. If Mattel produce this, it will be nice.

Added items:
simple plain white colour with matte black hood,
custom made side mirror with reflective mirror,
big rear steel exhaust muffler,
custom made front lower lips, side skirtings
and lastly, extra large black co-mo wheels.

Compare to standard civic SI which i've upgrade in simple mod, look at the wheels difference.
The Type R version are slightly higher due to bigger wheels diameter.

Hotwheels Classic Bone Shaker (RAOK)

No, this is not a custom bone shaker. I'm posting this Hotwheels Classic Bone Shaker on my blog because it's a RAOK from a good friend of mine, whom are now residing in Australia. It's a surprise gift as i didn't expect to received the parcel from him.

My friend knew that i'm looking for this special casting, and i can't resist to take it out immediately. I had to admit, it's very very nice to hold and feels the wheels rolling. And this green spectra flame colour are really catching my attention.

Hotwheel Custom Civic Mugen Street Tuner

Actually this car was crushed in the packing on the delivery via poslaju last year to my friend down south .The rear wing was out of proportion and the rear part of the paint was chip off. This car was formerly custom honda civic Type R,white colour with red and black stripe.

As now, it's was reconstructed, repaint from the scratch and added some latest features and he likes it very much.

Complete Bandai Nissan GTR 35

I'm back! After a long busy works schedules that keeps my custom work temporary halt.
Apologies for been away for almost one month.

Here's my Bandai 1/43 plastic scales models Nissan GTR 35 completed, and from what i've seen, this Bandai models are simply awesome! Apart fron the light plastic body shelf, the rest are very detailed right to the front and rear headlight. On the cons side, the rubber wheels are really static and it cannot rolls which i think it is just for display only. And lastly it came with a plastic platform display base with the name in front.

Here's the work in progress;
i've used poster colour to paint the door panel and all the grooves lines.

the black poster colour now almost dry.

Next, use dry cotton bud to wipe all the dried poster colour on the surface, this cleaning process will leave the neat straight door panel lining effect.

Bandai Scale Model Nissan GT-R

Bought this Bandai scale 1/43 plastic model kits recently. Unpacked and start some assembling on the models kits. There are some small parts thats needs some careful attention. The only area i've spray painted are red colour bucket seat and the chromed paint disc with brakes calipers.

Hotwheel Custom 'Greddy' Nissan 350Z

Back by demand again on Custom GReddy on another japanese car Nissan 350Z by request of my friend Azreen. He has been patiently waited for almost 3 months as i've busy on others custom car. Anyway, there's slightly improvement on the custom compares to my previous works.

For the change, i've switched to gold colour wheels with rubber tyres and it turn out matching this 350Z and some slight improvement on the rear twin muffler by boring the inner holes outside the opening exhaust hole to make it more 'realistic look'.

Hotwheel Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Simple Modding

Just try out my experiment on this Mistubishi Lancer with trying some new methods for my future works.
The casting is in original grey silver was retained and minor changes are swapped on the windows, wheels and base from Evo X's speed machine.
Added are :
1)custom aero sport side mirror with reflective mirror (chrome sticker) which i've carved out from tiny pvc tube.
2)custom roof "vortex with sting bee" antenna and
3) rear steel twin muffler

Custom HW Datsun 240Z Wangan Midnight Devil Z

This is my custom Devil Z which i've done recently, the casting are from Hotwheel Datsun 240Z. Based in the japanese anime manga series Wangan Midnight Devil Z,this car is driven by Akio Asakura. I like this series, it's different from Initial D where we sees a lot of tuner car drifts on the mountain and this stories is about high speed adrenalin racing on japan highway.
This story gets its roots from the actual street racing that occurs on Tokyo's Shuto Expressway,one stretch of which is known as the "Wangan"— literally meaning "bay side" although it is generally used to refer
to the freeway — the longest, straightest road in the entire country.

This custom Devil Z are given blue coat of paints, rubber wheels added and rear steel twin mufflers.

Maisto Enzo Ferrari Simple Modding

For this time round, i've this Enzo Ferrari scales 1/24 from Maisto Assembly Line series which i've bought last year and managed to get it assembled and some added simple mod. The original body casting are plain red on the both sides of the openable door frame and i've applied some black colour paints on the window frames. Next, black colour also painted on the front headlight to gives it more sporty "smoke head light". And lastly, the rear engine block cover are added with red lining to gives it more sporty image.

Hotwheel Lamborghini Gallardo Simple Modding

On my friend request, this gallardo has been upgrade with red colour seat bucket, chrome finished engine details and chrome rims rubber wheels swap. These original black matt colour finishes are really nice and left untouch. Another modded gallardo are with red line tyres.

Hotwheel Ford GT LM Simple Modding

Another mod up on this new casting of Hotwheel Ford GT LM. I can't resist in mod up this casting because of the sporty racing version and the matt blue racing colour of this latest release . All it's needs are swapped with bigger chrome wheel with rubber tyres, painted red colours rear engine's detail, red coloured seat bucket and lastly added custom stainless steel twin rear exhaust muffler.

Instead of one custom Evo that i will do in exchanges programme with cham , i've make it into three in numbers. The other was specially swapped with chrome wheels with rubber tyres.

Complete Custom Hotwheels Team Gigawave Nissan GTR

Yes, as promised, here's my complete custom Nissan GTR which are based on Japan GT racing team known as Team Gigawave Nissan GTR. I've tried to replicated this version although it's not really 100% matching the real 1:1 scale.
Added are the custom made rear GT wing ,front lower custom lips skirting and lastly the antenna on top.

HW Custom Team Gigawave Nissan GTR WIP

Hi there again, it's been a long time i've didn't post any of my custom work since last year (month!). It's because due to very busy and tight schedule for the month of december 2009 until end of january 2010. I've been assigned by my HWC Malaysia to custom and complete 100 nos of 2010 club car and 50 nos of DD (dairy delivery) dinner car for our 1st HWCM annual dinner event which will be held on 31st january 2010.And i hope to finish them in time.

I will revealed some of this club car pictures the following month after the event.

Here's another custom work shown in WIP which already completed before my custom club car started. The full complete custom GTR will be shown in part 2 later.

After previous custom nissan GTR part 1 completed, this time my custom GTR needs to have some cutting at the rear spoiler. But i'm having some difficulties here because as i do not have the dremel cutting tools. After giving some thoughts , i've decided to cut it anyway using hand saw manually which i've been dicussed and advised by elgee from G- Garage.

There is no sawing or cutting angle for me to execute as the spoiler attached to GTR casting are very close.Finally i've managed to cut it by using plyer to clam the casting with the rear side facing upward. From the top of the casting, i've sawing the spoiler very consistently and slowly, This took me about 15 minutes to cut it off with every 5 minutes stop interval just to check the cutting line are in alignment. My advise, do it patiently or else you will end up hurting your fingers if the hand saw jump out of the cutting line.

After the cutting process complete, some hard sanding applied here to smoothen the cutting area. The other works included are drilling some holes for rear spoiler and the top for fixing antenna .

After the sanding, some primer coats applied here.As usual after the primer coats drys, another round sanding applies to smoothen the coating surface. Next, the white coat of spray paints.

Next, some cutting of masking proceed. Some small slice of cutting and masking applied one by one.
This takes me about half and hour to mask all the side of the casting.

Next, the second coating of red colour spraying applies.
All the area exposed are meant to be in red colour as in my custom GTR.

As the red colours healed and dries, the masking area removed, you can see the actual lining and stripe that i wanted in this way.

The 2nd coating complete here as all the masking have being removed.

Another black colour spray coat all over,

After the black colour coating healed, the masking has been removed. And what we can see is 2 tone red and black stripe effect.

Now to the aerial or antenna. I chose this thin and long plastic tag which we normally see on collar of the shirt or t shirt which are tagged along with price list on retail shopping malls.

next, cut out the middle section.

Now, the interior has been touch up as the seat bucket are painted red colour. The wheels are swapped from hotwheel ferrari co-mold tyres and the rear custom GT wing and antenna are all in the order to be fixed for the final touch.

Custom HW 2006 Honda Civic Type R "Ready For Battle!"

Yes, another custom Hotwheel 2006 Honda Civic Type R this time which i did for another hwcm member who wants this custom civic hot-hatch similar to his current driving car. The colour of his choice are simple white colour body with black colour hood on front and rear side.
Others added parts are custom made rear big oversize "stainless steel" muffler and optional chrome wheels with rubber tyres. In real life, it's illegal to have oversize or big rear muffler in our country but it's free imagination in custom world.

Custom HW Nissan GTR WIP Complete Work

They are finally complete! 1130 views and 120 replies in the hwcm since the first post announcing this co-custom in the WIP thread, elgee and I have both completed our GT-R customs. This is the first of a (possibly) two part co-custom build, where we're building GT-Rs together in pairs.

The first pair of a street version of a Nissan GT-R with a wide body kit by elgee and the GReddy Nissan GT-R version by me. You can view elgee's work in his blog at G's garage.

Custom HW Nissan GTR WIP Part 3

Sorry for the late update on my WIP as i was busy in my office work and often came back home late.
Here's my progress, the rear side centre logo was to small to print out and can't be seen and read clearly. So i decided to work the other way.

I used masking tape to seal around the embossed logo. (all the four sides)

After that, i used a medium range grit sandpaper to sand of the exposed logo. This has to be done slowly and gentle. As the more i sanded it, the embossed metal logo are now can be seen clearly after i removed the masking area. This method will result the standard nissan logo in full metal finished. It makes my work easy since it's embossed logo on the casting surface.

Next, for the front headlight, i decided to apply chrome finish effect by using a piece of chrome finish paper.
I've marked the area according to the shape that i wanted to cut it out.

The chrome paper are now cut accordingly to the shape as shown below.

And the chrome finished are now placed under side of the plastic headlight cover using double sided tape.
Now we can see the actual chrome finished front headlight.

Now, time to concentrate on the interior side. The seat bucket are now painted with red colour as standard racing seat colour. Thare are still some touch up work need to be done on the seat.

While waiting for the bucket seat to dry up, i proceed to the underside of the base. Some metal finish paint applies on the underside muffler and exhaust system. As for the tyres, i decided to retain the originals wheels as the rims was in dark chrome finished that suited the custom GTR.

lastly, the GTR body casting are now sprayed with clear coat finish.

As all the above section are almost complete, just awaiting for final assembly,
i will upload the full complete pictures soon.

Custom HW Nissan GTR WIP Part 2

Thanks everyone for constanly viewing my WIP on the last post in my blog.
Works of progress continues, the masking are in place as marked for spray paint works.

after removal of masking, the black colour portion and lining can be seen now.
Guess what's the design theme this time?

Next, the decals are applied to all the sides of the body casting.
I think everyones knows the custom theme by now........

Custom HW Nissan GTR WIP

This is the WIP on my custom Hotwheel Nissan GTR which is recently complete and posted on hwcm which i'm collobrating with elgee from Gee's garage.You can also view his WIP in his blog.

Here's my GTR, freshly out from the blister and straight away into the removal of the paint casting. I can see the inside details how was it look. It's different from other body casting.

The inside part of the casting..

Paint removal applies, and the original paint peel off within few minutes, and all left nothing but bare metal.

The casting now are apply with hard sanding to some die casting line and to some part of the body and proceed to spray a layer of primer coating. After the primer coat dried, apply another soft sanding for smoother surface.

Next, first layer of white spray coating applied with another second coat few hours later.

And the final coat of paint..

You might wonder why i would stripped the original white paint and resprayed the white paint again? The answer is simple, the original paints come with another layer of clear coating which are smooth and glossy. Any other paint or airbrush applies on top of it won't last long and it will peel off later.
this is what i've experience when i've try to cut short of my work.
