Custom Matchbox 2008 Honda Civic Type R

This is another matchbox's 1/64 scale 2008 Honda Civic 2008 which i've custom in full Type R liveries. The original paints are all strip and removed to the bare metal. The front headlight ,rear light and front grille and the chrome wheels had to be repaint again.
Here's the full complete custom make over.

here's another variant colour by matchbox as i've completed all the four colours at the present. The colours released by matchbox are white, yellow, silver and red. I've only recolour the white paints over the standard chrome wheels just to enhance the Type R hype.

As for the yellow, i'm satisfied with the dark chromed wheels which are matching the sporty yellow.

And finally for the silver colour, i've applied black colour to the chrome spokes leaving the outer chrome wheels untouch.
This creates another matching racing wheel with the silver colour Type R.

Mores pictures on the group photos....

Racing time........all the Type R meets and race together!!

Custom Classico Colleczione: Ferrari 1948 166MM

Received this classico collezione Ferrari 1948 166MM (about scale 1/40) from my friend Shakz7 in very bad condition as he asked me to restore this car for him to original condition. The body paint was very bad and paints peel of almost every part of the surface.

The engine bay was on plain black plastic colour when i've opened the front bonnet lid.

Now every parts are removes as pictures shown below.

The casting body now was hard sanding for smooth surface after removal of paint.
All the casting line at the edges are now eliminated . some paper clip are used here for support the front bonnet lid cover.

The casting now sprayed with primer coat. The engine bay now was given new coat of chrome paint.
Another view of the engine bay and the custam made support stand for the bonnet lid cover
are placed nicely at the side of the engine.

And here's the final stage. Simple spray of new coat of paint all over.

Next: Full complete restoration pictures. Will upload later.

HotWheel Custom Subaru Police Car

NO mistake! it's not Tomica. This Hotwheel Subaru Custom Japanese police car has complete about 4 months ago and well kept inside my display shelf for quite a long time. I've forgotten to post it because quite busy lately.

The custom of this police car are base on tomica subaru police car as model reference. That's why many people mistaken it for tomica car, hehe..... . The added items are radio antennas to roof top and rear trunk, standard custom V shape police lighting to roof top and gold coloured rims painted to the originals wheels.

comparison to tomica's subaru police car and you can see the difference
as both of these car pictures taken side by side,

HotWheel Custom Bone Shaker II

Another Custom Bone Shaker after the first custom make i've make earlier. This is simple make over and retain the gold chrome colour .

Close up view of the rear engines details. Some wire cables added here.

Stages shown in Work Of Progress, thanks for looking..

The casting being removed and the seat painted black colour

The new chrome wheel set now replaced the plastic wheel. Need to crimped it back those metal hinges that i've pry it open earlier to remove the original wheels.

I've inserted some wire cables from the bottom of the base and pulled it out at the top surface.

Some small tiny holes are drilled at the surface of the engine bay

The wires cables are now nicely insert into the opening holes.

HotWheel Custom Bone Shaker

Sorry for the late posting of my custom work. Lately, I've been very busy rushing some projects in my office and very tired after works. here's my recent works.

I remember seeing this Hotwheel Custom Bone Shaker posted by some expert japanese hw customizer posted on the internet few months ago but it didn't caught my eyes on the first sight. But then, after joining some local HWCM gathering, i manage to look close enough to see the real thing and feel it on my own palm and i must admit that this piece of casting are awesome and must not be miss in my collection.

While hunting some loose hw's on last sunday flea market at Amcorp Mall, i saw this bone shaker lying beneath some loose hotwheel's car in the plastic tray, looking lifeless and in a very beat down state....
I managed to buy it after bargained it with the trader at a very low price.
Later, i decided to give this bone shaker a new lease of life and start customize it.

This is the original condition, some parts of the body paint were chip off. Some gold colour on the both sides of the side muffler also faded off.

the wheel also in terrible condition, both front and rear looks uneven.

first step, i used micro screw driver to drilled and create the muffler opening. The process takes some times because it applied to both sides of the car. And had to be consistent and careful.

After that, the casting are separated by drilled off the rivets at the base of the car.
The body now sprayed with a coat of primer. And the wheel has replaced with another set of bright chrome rims with rubber tyres.

Here's the simple custom bone shaker make over.
Now with brand new look fitted with rubber tyres.
